🌿Scoria pebbles are great to use as a base layer for your terrarium. They are also a very useful top layer stone for growing moss - it loves growing around them, filling in all of the little porous holes. It's a very versatile terrarium substrate!

🌿The base layer is one of the most important layers in your terrarium. It is essential to have this layer for drainage. Our 7mm scoria pebbles are perfect for the job as they are porous which means they are great at storing any surplus water at the bottom of your glass in their little holes and bumps. They're also lighter than ordinary pebbles so they don't add too much weight to your terrarium.

🌿We measure our products by volume and weight so that you know exactly how much you will receive.

Available to purchase in 2 different sizes, below is an approximate estimate of how much you will need for your DIY terrarium.

500ml - Up to 20cm diameter glass

1litre - 21-25cm diameter glass

Shipping & Packaging

We ship DIY Terrarium Kits to VIC, SA, ACT, NSW and QLD from Melbourne VIC for a flat rate of $15. We use Auspost and Startrack Express depending on size and weight of each order. Orders are dispatched Monday - Friday.

Click and Collect is available from Reservoir 3073. Orders must be placed through our website. We will send the exact address when we confirm that the order is ready for pickup which is generally within 1-2 business days.

While we do our best to keep the lines of communication open with you, if you have placed your order and haven't received your tracking details within 3 business days please send us a Facebook, Instagram message or email to make sure we've received your order correctly. We'll get back to you within 1 business day with an update.

In the rare instance that your package does arrive damaged, please get in touch with photos of damage within 24hrs of receiving your order and we will happily replace the broken glass for you. Customer happiness is our number one priority!
