This stunning gold heart-leaf Philodendron is a real statement piece. It produces long vines and works well in a hanging basket or trailing out of a pot. It can trail anywhere from 3-6 metres.
Pot Size: 160mm hanging pot.
Philodendron cordatum will do best if placed in indirect light. Keep out of direct sun, bright diffused light is preferable. Most philodendrons will survive in lower light but, as with most other plants, will becomes leggy under lower light conditions.
Philodendron cordatum should be let to dry out almost completely in low to medium light but not to point of wilting. In bright light, allow soil to dry down at least 1/2 to 3/4 of its depth.
To keep your Philodendron cordatum full, place in bright, indirect light and cut back the longest of its vines occasionally to encourage new growth. Remove any leaves that become discoloured or faded. If you are watering properly and the light is good, you should get some side shoots to fill the plant out.
