Nephrolepsis 'Teddy Junior' is a compact, dwarf evergreen fern that provides a lovely contrasting foliage when in the company of indoor plants. 'Teddy Junior' forms a rosette of arching fronds that emerge in a lime/fresh green and then slowly change to the rich darker green of mature foliage.
It looks great in both hanging baskets and pots and is quite fast growing.
Ferns are not difficult to grow but will not tolerate neglect. Remove any broken or dead fronds to encourage new growth. Allow space around your fern and avoid overcrowding them as fronds are quite fragile and delicate.
Nephrolepsis 'Teddy Junior' will grow to a height and width of 50cm x 50cm.
POSITION Teddy Junior prefers bright light with partial shade and a slightly warmer temperature. However, it cannot survive in strong direct sun. The plant requires high humidity during its growth period starting from mid-spring through late autumn.
To maintain the humidity level, place the pot over a tray filled with moist pebbles throughout the warm season.
WATER Nephrolepsis don't like to dry out and also enjoy humidity, a light liquid or slow release fertiliser during spring and summer.
Pictured here in a 20cm pot, it will be shipped potted.
