🌿Calathea elliptica has narrow leaves with a really striking white banding. We love the dramatic look it adds to a terrarium, it's definitely a statement plant! We prefer planting some colourful Fittonias underneath it, they work very well together. These plants have a little bit of height, so we recommend them for terrariums that are over 20cm high.
🌿It loves humidity and needs to be kept moist, so this is a perfect choice for closed terrariums.
🌿Bonus points - It's also nontoxic to pets so it's a great choice if you have furbabies.
